Thousands of attendees have descended upon the Drug Information Association’s (DIA) annual event – Convergence of Science, Medicine, and Health in Chicago, where key exchanges have been taking place around innovation and ultimately patient care and outcomes.  HealthCentral CEO, Christopher M. Schroeder had the pleasure of sharing his reflections around these issues today, June, 22nd.  He spoke about the social world we now live in and how people can share their experiences, plights, and triumphs.

“We all know in the off line world, there is certain value we get from the woman and man in a white coat;  that there is a very different kind of  support and love and help we get from family and loved ones, not just in our backyard but anywhere;  and unique guidance from those who have been there.  It is unique.  It causes a binding experience with that person and with their ‘wisdom or content.”
