Cholecystitis, cholangiogram

Gallbladder disease can be seen on a cholangiogram. Radio-opaque dye is used to enhance the x-ray. Here, multiple stones are present in the gallbladder (choleolithiasis). For most patients, ultrasound has replaced these older x-ray dye tests for imaging the gallbladder.
