Coffee anyone?

By gilly1955 Tuesday, May 22, 2007

Hello everyone.

I am looking for opinions on acid reflux and coffee. I have been drinking a lot of coffee (5-8 cups a day) for, oh, as long as I can remember basically, and while I have been told that coffee worsens my acid reflux, I still cannot see myself doing completely without!

I have found this article about Heartburn Coffee. It talks about a low acid coffee that supposedly is suitable for people afflicted with GERD/acid reflux. Then there’s this article about Coffee Alternatives, but I’m not sure how excited I can get about Siberian Ginseng or Roasted Dandelion Root tea…

I just wanted to see if anyone out there had any experiences with the suggested possibilities or other suggestions on how to battle my coffee cravings!

Many thanks in advance,

Gilly

I have the largest hiatal hernia (a picture of my stomach is in the medical journals) I was told to give up coffee and instead spent 15 years developing the only government approved, unadulterated coffee that is so low in pH acid that we guarantee you won't get heartburn or we'll refund your money and shipping charges (less than 30 refunds in 20 years).  www.healthwisecoffee.com
