Thank you for your question. Does the doctor think your baby has gastroesophageal reflux? Often the doctor will try a medication such as Zantac to reduce stomach acid if he/she suspects reflux. Be sure to follow up with the doctor to decide if the medication is helping and whether you need to continue the medication or not.
Be sure to mention the constipation to the doctor. Constipation can worsen reflux and cause pain and discomfort too.
