I am 49 years old.  I have suffered with nightime Acid Reflux for many years.  About 2 months ago, I started to have a pain in my upper left back and different bowel habits.  I lost about 7 lbs and had no appetite but I think that might have been anxiety since I have put a few lbs. back on and have gained my appetite back most of the time.  Sometimes I get a pain below my left rib cage but think that is gas related. I have had an abdominal/pelvic barium catscan, abdominal ultrasound both were normal, colonoscopy/endoscopy which showed a slight hiatal hernia, repeated blood work where my wbc is slightly elevated to a 12 but for years it is usually about that and a chest cat scan (normal).  My upper left back pain has persisted and even radiates to my upper left shoulder.  I had a normal EKG.  I am now on Nexium 40 1 per day for 3 days now.  I have become fearful of pancreatic cancer even though 4 GI dr.s have told me that it is highly not probable.  Anyone with similar symptoms/thoughts?
