About Me

My name is Heather and I am the proud mother of 2 beautiful little girls. My first daughter was diagnosed with reflux when she was 3 years old. She always complained of her "stomach hurting" whenever she ate or was lying down. She also had a persistent cough and would cough up phlegm all the time. They put her on prevacid and that helped very much. My second daughter was having major issues with formulas and around eating. Her feeding issues got progressively worse until one day she gave up on eating and started screaming constantly like she was in pain. I took her into her pediatrician and he prescribed ranitidine. IT WORKED! She has been on it for 3 days so far and is like the baby I never knew I had. She is happy and eating normally. Both my children have this disease. I would like to learn how to control it and connect with other parents with the same problems.
