    Power-Packed Shake.

    I just read a study where whey protein lowers body fat while increasing lean muscle mass (Baer, 2011). Try making the shake below to help you on your way to a healthy and happy new year.

    1 cup pineapple juice

    1 scoop whey protein powder, vanilla flavored

    1/2 banana (we keep peeled and ripe bananas in a bag in the freezer)

    1/2 cup fresh pineapple

    1 small kiwifruit, peeled and chopped

    1/3 cup vanilla Greek yogurt



    Blend all of the ingredients in a blender and enjoy.
