Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site but stumbled upon it while doing research about my condition on the internet.

As a background I have acid reflux, IBS, gastritis & esophagitis.  I also have anxiety caused by the shortness of breath experienced with all of the above symptoms.

I have been through every test and they have found that acid is flowing out of my esophagus and onto my lungs.  When they did they upper endoscopy and the pH probe they found that 3 of my sphincters do not relax enough and that is allowing the acid to come up and over.

I will go days without any symtomps and then I will go months with them.  I do not know what causes it anymore and often worry my lungs are going to give out although I have been told that will not happen.

I am on 40 mg of Nexium (Protonix did not work for me) and 10ml of Carafate 4 times a day.  It is worse right before and after my period which is another enigma to me.

Does anyone know how to get acid out of your lungs.  My sister is a healthnut and works for a natural health company.  She got me this rare drink called Xango which has mangosteen in it.  It has been known to cure digestive issues including GERD.

I just want to get rid of this so I can be active again.  I'm tired of being anxious about every esophageal spasm, shortness of breath and chest tightness.

THANKS!
