OK, so I posted a question not too long ago wondering what this thing is in the back of my throat, and well, I have a doc appt tomorrow to find out.  I am starting to wonder if this all leads down to me having A.R.D. (acid reflux disease).   I have never been diagnosed with it, but as I read about it, and look at the symptoms, I get all the symptoms. But isn't that typical heartburn?? I always have heart burn, and now it seems worse. But then again, I am currently 34 weeks pregnant. So I dont know. I guess we will see what the doc says.

All I know, is that this feeling like I have something stuck at the BACK of my throat is getting irritating already.  At first it felt like a hair, now, it just needs to go away already.

Hello! Let us know what you find out at the doctors appt today. It is certainly a good idea to check out the symptoms with your doctor. I know reflux may occur or worsen during pregnancy. You are doing the right thing going to the doctor.

Hey, thanks for your concern.. :)   I went, and they didn't figure out what was in my throat, i do however have acid reflux..LOL.. Im like oh great.. so i have to live with that, for now. I don't know if it is pregnancy induced or not. So ya, thats where I am with this.

I have been on every acid blocker that last week and I still have the same sensation of having something stuck in my throat. What happened when you went to the Doctor. I really want an endoscope so I can know what it is already.

Ya, I am wondering if it could be pflegm in my throat.  Cause when I get sick, i get SICK. It sucks, and I also have chronic sinusitis, so whenever I get a sinus cold, UGH.... blah.

The doc said she wants to do that enoscopy, but cant right now cause I am preggo.. so we have to wait, she thinks I have a narrow esophagus. So ya.. anyway, hope you too figure out what it is..

It is a good thing you are going to your doctor, that is always good just to make sure.

I am a Mom (in my late 30's) of 4 children and I had ARD and GERD and constant heartburn while pregnant with the last two (now girls ages 8 and 9--my other two children are boys ages 16 and 13).  It is an old wives tale that if you have heartburn that means the baby has hair!  It did not pan out with my 9 y/o, but my youngest (age 8) was born with a whole fuzzy head of hair!!

While pregnant with my youngest, I craved "Red Hot Riplets", Hot Wings, hot and spicy stuff (which I used to LOVE).  She turned out as a very intelligent. artistic, and creative girl, who marches to the beat of her own drummer. She is 8 now.

Sometimes those cravings mean you are going to have a lil Firecracker (like I did)!!!      :)

You never know...     :)

Best Wishes,
