    Almond Apple Wrap

    Today I read an interview with an actress who said that her goal each day is to “eat for energy.” I thought that that sounded like such a great approach. Apples are in season now and almond butter is a great source of energy, so the two together will undoubtedly make a great snack.

    1 flour tortilla (these also come gluten free)

    2 Tbs. almond butter

    1 Tbs. honey

    1 Tbs. mayonnaise

    1 tsp. apple juice

    1/4 cup diced apple (small pieces)

    1 Tbs. raisins

    1 Tbs. sliced almonds



    Spread the almond butter and honey evenly on the tortilla. Whisk together the mayonnaise and apple juice. Toss the apples, raisins, and almonds in the mayonaise. Mound the apple mixture on top of the almond butter. Roll up the tortilla and enjoy!
