    Angel Food Cake.

Now that the days are getting shorter, it is easy to over-eat, which can make reflux worse. When you are in the mood for something sweet, try snacking on a piece of angel food cake. Angel food cake is so named, because it is so light and fluffy, it is known as the “food of the angels.” It has about 70 calories per piece which is about 1/2 – 1/3 of the calories of most other cakes.

1 box angel food cake mix (I recommend a mix since making an angel food cake from scratch requires ingredients you might not already have in your pantry such as cake flour and cream of tartar)

1 cup Greek yogurt (key lime flavor)

    1/2 cup honey

Make the cake according to the package directions (many mixes are complete and only require you to add water). Let the cake cool. In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt and the honey to make a sauce. Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the cake before serving.
