Reflux Friendly Cooking: Memorial Day Tartlets

  • Memorial Day Tartlets.

    These tartlets are cool and refreshing and are a great way to show off your patriotism Memorial Day weekend. You could make the tartlet shells yourself, but you can find them already made in your freezer section.

     

    Ingredients:

    12 mini tart shells (These can be found in the freezer section but if your store does not carry these you can substitute 6 graham cracker tarts found in the baking section. These are ready to serve).

    3 small containers of yogurt (my son tolerates rice or coconut-based yogurt)

    1 cup fresh blueberries

    1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)

    Make the tarts according to package directions. Let cool completely. Fill each tartlet 3/4 full of yogurt. Top each with a few fresh blueberries or strawberries. Chill until ready to serve.
