Hi Tracy, Anthony hasnt started the doxepin yet and I want to discuss it with his doctor tomorrow at his appt. He is 24 and doesnt want "mom" going to his doctors appts. but I feel since this has such a huge negative impact on my life also and my husbands that he has to let one of us go with him. He is young and not too pro active and we just have to get some results here soon because we are at the end of our rope. My plan after tomorrow is to get a 2nd opinion with another Kaiser GI doc and then if Anthony still is not better than we will get a3rd opinion from a Dr. Terdeman at UCSF - he is supposed to be the best GI doc in SF. His latest blood tests all came back "normal". What do you think about aloe vere water to help acid reflux? I told A to eat pineapple because I thought it had some enzymes that would help acid reflux. Do you know if this is true?
