#3 post reminds me of my current condition. I underwent (1) cat scan (to rule out sinus infections), (2) esophagram and (3) endoscopy.    The results of all tests were normal.  The doctor who performed the endoscopy diagnosed mild gastritis found in the fundus, body of the stomach and antrum. He took a biopsy to test for H. pilori and the results were negative. I asked my doctor to prescribe a medicine to reduce the inflamation and he said that it was not necessary and suggested to continue taking Omoprazole (20mg) for two more months. I started taking Omoprazole one month before the endoscopy.

The blood in my phlem worries me.
