    Hi rufluxsux,

I am so sorry to hear you are having this kind of difficulty. It's tough to deal with Acid Reflux but then when you are having all these additional issues it's got to be rough.

There are some links to information that you might find helpful. No one knows you better than your doctor and only he can give you advice that will benefit you, but with this information, you can ask the right questions to help manage your care. You might have heard this already, but it never hurts to see it again for a refresher.

You mentioned the possibility of having bile reflux and Dr Todd Eisner wrote an article that talks about bile reflux. You can read the whole article here, but he mentions that "this is more common in patients that have had prior surgery of the upper gastrointestinal tract, it can also occur after gallbladder surgery, ulcer disease and previous damage to the pylorus (of the stomach)."

There is also alot of great information here about what to do to avoid the reflux. Sleeping elevated, lower stress, (although it's understandable why you are stressed) Here's a good video about treatments and medications.  Here is a great video about nighttime reflux.

Again, none of this is meant to take the place of your doctor's advice, but it will help you make a list of questions for your next visit.

I hope you find this information helpful. Please stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!
