May many times the surgeon has tightened the fundilplication much too tight. Do not be afraid to ask your surgeon to un do it or let it down some. The quicker the better as scar tissue forms quickly. I am worse off than before my 2 operations but am blessed that I can once again eat and drink. It has been 2 years now and I am going in February to have my esophagus stretched once again. That was the quickest I could get in but if it becomes severe enough I will go in on emergency. My appetite is not good, am nauseas often, and can bend over or down and start belching and bringing stuff up, so it is time. I pray I can at least eat a half of turkey sandwich and potatoes and gravy. LOL Gof bless you all and do not give up. Thanks Jean
