    What causes a ph monitoring capsule attched to the esophagus not to detach? How long does it take for one to detach? What happens if it doesn't detach?

    Thanks, my daughter is back in having another tube down her throat to try to dislodge it now. I was wanting to know what happens if they can't dislodge it and why it didn't dislodge in the first place.
