Know what to ask your doctor.

I'm a board-certified gastroenterologist practicing in Boca Raton, Florida since 1995. I was always fascinated with science as a child and decided to become a doctor to use this interest along with helping people. After medical school, I began my internal medicine residency, where I developed a strong interest in the procedures of gastroenterology.

Patients need to take an active role in their medical care to best make use of the healthcare system. Being an educated consumer will allow patients to optimize their success in dealing with physicians and their health. Pay attention to what your physician tells you and research your disease, always remembering that each individual case is different. Ask your doctor questions to help you better understand what you can do to improve your condition.

I hope to be your eyes and ears on new developments in acid reflux disease. New and exciting therapies are being developed, and as they are, I will educate you on how to benefit from them. I encourage you to submit questions on gastroesophageal reflux disease, and I will be happy to answer them.
