I would like for anyone reading this page to note that nexium, an acid reflux pharmaceutical, astra zyneca, is advertising on this page. The doctor giving answers to not stop taking pharmaceuaticals is being paid for advertising by a pharmaceutical company. This is a definite conflict of interest. I am having a very similar experience to this person and I am also skeptical about having acid reflux. I visited a second doctor after my diagnosis and asked to be given the barium swallow reflux test and she refused and wrote me another prescription for PPI's which I will not be taking or ever going back to her again. My "acid reflux" hit me for the first time after I took Nexium. Diet and exercise is the best cure for most digestive ailments, not a pill.
