The doctor giving answers to not stop taking pharmaceuaticals is being paid for advertising by a pharmaceutical company. This is a definite conflict of interest. I am having a very similar experience to this person and I am also skeptical about having acid reflux. I visited a second doctor after my diagnosis and asked to be given the barium swallow reflux test and she refused and wrote me another prescription for PPI's which I will not be taking or ever going back to her again. My "acid reflux" hit me for the first time after I took Nexium. Diet and exercise is the best cure for most digestive ailments, not a pill.
