Have you tried a rotation diet (4 or 7 day) with your daughters?  You can work around their allergies and give them an assortment of foods - and structure.  It might also help lessen their symptoms.  I started a rotation diet 5+ years ago - it takes a while to get in to a rhythm, but the benefits are worth it. And I'm eating & cooking a much wider variety of foods than I did for many years.  For instance, today is my coconut day, so I'll have cultured coconut milk (vanilla + a little powdered cocoa) for lunch and I'll probably make chicken with saffron, coconut milk, and leeks for dinner.
