wow. thats a great thing for your daughter that she did finally grow out of the GERD. well ive got a daughter that from birth has had acid reflux. when she was younger she would do non stop vomiting and lost weight and all that fun stuff just like your daughter. but my daughters acid reflux came about from another problem that she has. she still has GERD and is almost 3. they say that she mite not ever outgrow it. she still has issues with puking when she eats certain foods. or she has the issues of constipation or diarreha. theres not a happy medium for her.
I am so sorry to hear that you are dealing with GERD in your almost 3 year old. I feel very blessed that Melina outgrew her GERD.
I also have twins that are now 3 and one (Ella) also has reflux. Ella has not outgrown hers yet either. I am holding out hope that she will since she is doing a ton better than in the past. I haven't posted her story yet but plan to do so soon. If you ever need a "reflux mom" to chat with feel free to e-mail me. It's a rough road that none of us should have to deal with alone!
