I have gerd . I sleep on two pillows and that seems to help. If it bothers me in the middle of the night I take malox. That seems to help, so I can sleep.  A friend I hope it helps.

I have dealt with acid reflux for many years and tried MANY remedies.  One I have found to help a lot is taking multi-enzyme dietary supplements with any meal I know full well will cause the reflux and ANY meal I eat within 3 hours of going to bed.  Although nothing "cures" it the multi-enzymes really help.  Please follow the instrctions and make sure you do not take them at the same time as any medications and/or daily vitamins. More info on the multi-enzyme supplements is available by searching the internet.  I get mine through one of the larger vitamin/herbal supplement web sites. Also please remember that overeating before bed time is a sure way to spend the night awake.

Lately, it seems to be a general thing with me. Regardless of what I tried, eat, take, the results are the same. I am waking up with battery acid tasting salvia. Can't get rid of the taste even after brushing my teeth. Sleep, what that! I spend more time up then down. I've tried everything. Still no relief.
