Please, any help with helicobacter other than taking antibiotics? I DO not WANT TO DESTROY MY IMMUNE SYSTEM, SURELY THERE IS ANOTHER WAY OUT?

    Hey Phyllida,

     

    Antiobiotics are still the recommended treatment for H. Pylori infections. I did a little research for you on the topic and here's what I found:

     

    1. There are a couple different treatment options for H. Pylori which range in number of medications and time period. The most effective treatments combine two antibiotics with proton pump inhibitors. The time period for treatment can range from 7-14 days, with the most successful treatments lasting at least 10 days. To read more click here.

     

    2. Stomach cancer and lymphoma are related to H. Pylori infection, so it's important to get the proper treatment!
