Hello, I posted about my 3 1/2 month old baby boy Siddhanth. Well, after seeing a GI specialist (miraculously we got an appointment right away, which I am so thankful for) and taking Siddhanth for an upper GI series, we got a confirmed diagnosis of GERD.  He has been put on Zantac 15 mg 1.7ml t...

    Sandeepa,

Will it be possible for you to have a nanny come in 4 to 5 hours daily? If you check a website called care.com they give you nannies/temp baby sitters who might come in to help you around your home a bit. It will give you a break....

    Hello Sandeepa,

I am so glad you were able to get an appointment with the GI doctor and get a diagnosis of GERD. It is a sign of a good doctor when he/she wants to check in soon to make sure the treatment is working. It can take a bit of time for the medication to start working. You don't have much time to spare at this point as you are already feeding him non stop and trying to take care of your family too.

Do not hesitate to call the doctor sooner or take him to the ER if it gets overwhelming to feed him or he just won't eat.

I am worried about you. I will send you a private email with my phone number please call me today. I wonder if you have a neighbor or friend who could come by and just sit with you as you feed him or take a turn feeding him.

    So call me today-ok?
