I have bad reflux, after taken Nexium for 2 years Doctor said take it twice day. I did and had bad reactions. Tried Kapidex, bad mood change and shakes. I also have a bad rash around my rectum. Now tried aciphex, rash is back and sinus hurts among other things. Have a cabinet full of proton pumps meds to try. How long should I try taking the med and how many side effects should I deal with and keep taking the med. Will any of it wear off?? Did the meds cause the rash on my bottom? Is any of is addictive? When I go off the med to cleanse my body I get shakes and am nervous. I am a mess and trying everything to avoid surgery. Holistic will be my next choice, if I don't find a med I can live with.
