Remembering Jan Gambino

  • It is with a very sad heart that I share with you that Jan Gambino, one of AcidRefluxConnection's most prolific and beloved writers, passed away earlier this week. Anyone who has read even one of Jan's articles knows the seemingly inexhaustible passion she had for helping patients living with acid reflux and especially parents with children suffering from acid reflux. Her enduring message of hope combined with the power of the most relevant and cutting edge research, information and practical advice on living with acid reflux or caring for a child with acid reflux was an endless source of comfort to the hundreds of thousands of people who were touched by her work.

Jan's passion for her cause, considerable skill in her craft and generous heart was also a great source of inspiration for me and all of my colleagues here at HealthCentral. Please join us in honoring Jan's memory.

In addition to her work with HealthCentral, Jan was extremely active in the organization, PAGER, which supports parents with children suffering from acid reflux.  For more information on PAGER or to make a donation in Jan's name, please visit their website.
