I know it cured, because I had it about 15yrs and it had just returned about 2 months ago.
And I know stress can brent it on, and I am under alot of stress. My husband of 8yrs has
COPD and is on oxygen 24/7..and where most people with this are on 2liters of oxygen, he is on 5 1/2. But praise the Lord he has lived 5 years longer than the doctors told us he would. I am not complaining, it's just very hard, because I am disabled also (back, neck, and knees), and I have to do every thing for him. He never complains, and always tells me thank you, when I get him a cup of coffee, bring his meal to him, he is so loving. But back thre acid reflux, I would like to cure it without meds. Seems like thats all I do is take meds.

Hello! For mild reflux symptoms, you might be able to adjust your diet and eat smaller, more frequent meals. Since you have a history of reflux, it is important to check with the doctor to make sure you don't have esophagitis which may require medication. Many family caregivers have difficulty finding time to take care of their own health care needs. I hope you will find a way to get yourself to the doctor too. You need to be healthy to care for your husband.
Take care, Jan
