for 1 month now. it started in my chest- tightess & burning. and now its in my throat and mouth. i seen my dr she put me on 40mg nexium. i had blood work done, stress test ,2 breathing test and chest xray PASS ALL TEST. What is wrong with me? because i am not going better. i just seen a new dr 3 days ago. he is a throat dr. he said my throat is dry. that i might have a yeast infection. i am taking dexamethasone.75mg and clotrimazole 10mg. i still feel the same. what is wrong with me please help... i am not running fever. i cannot eat. i been drinking ensure and eating food a little. one dr said i might have a burning mouth syndrome.

I have had some of the same symptoms, burning mouth can be caused by hormone changes like menopause or stress.Are you a female? For me over the last 4 yrs I've had a ton of stress in my life,then add menopause.....not fun! After I moved I got very sick with a sinus infection,tonsilitus, could not get well...had this for 3 mos.I now still have an enlarged tonsil,right side.Yes, I too over the last 3 mos couldn't eat, drank Ensure and ate soft foods.I went through 3 rounds of antibiodics with this also getting an infection right on my breast bone area,this is still sore. I too had many tests all came back, "normal". I was told I have acid reflux and from my reading I have esphogual spasms, sorry can't spell esphogus,but you get it.Now last mo. I did have a yeast infection,did the OTC yeast cream, took acidolpus and ate yougart.I eat yougart everyday,do this it helps.
If you are stressed your chest will tighten, ask your Dr for generic Xanax.When my chest hurts I take pain med and 1/2 of a Xanax.Now if I could get the burping to stop I'd be better.I know this is miserable......I still get some burning in my stomach,so I take a dose of liquid antacid, it does help.Another suggestion, don't eat citrus, nothing acidic,read labels on the foods, nothing spicy.Let me know if this all helps. :)
