Struggling through awful acide reflux again...

It happens every 1-2 years and is almost impossible to get rid of.

Im taking Nexium several times a day, belladonna(till the doctor gave me donnatal which is belladonna plus phenobarbital).

Cant eat anything except with level 10 pain.

Taking vicodin to kill the pain sometimes, rolaids chewables, maalox syrup( antacid and stomach protection).

What an awful condition, feels like I have stomach cancer.

I smoke, which I know irritates it(trying to quit but its hard to know)

Going to see GI specialist when my insurance is reinstated May 1. I probably need an endoscopy if all this doesnt work.

I cant even eat bread or a  plain bagel with butter.

Any suggestions?
