Hi Sparkly,
Unfortunately everything I have read about Zantac and Prilosec say that while a serious allergic reaction is possible, it's not likely. However it does sound like that is what you are experiencing. I don't see any reactions between the zantac and prilosec involving your heart medications. It could be you need to take care and try to use some natural methods for treating the acid reflux until your doctor can determine a medication that will help without the allergy issues.
There is a book that has lots of natural remedy tips. You can read that article here .
Dr Eisner weighed in on a conversation that some folks were having regarding Papaya and Pineapple as fruits that help acid refluxers. You can read the postings here and here, but basically Papaya contains papain which is an enzyme that helps in digestion and reduces inflammation. He also mentions chicory tea.
I hope this helps some. Do stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!!
