I have been living with GERD /acid reflux for 25 years. I had a Toupet Fundoplication (half wrap) 12 years ago.this was very successful. In 2009 it stopped working. Severe acid and pain again. I have tried everything known to man or women and feel fairly confident on what works and what doesn't. I recently had a Nissen fundoplication (full wrap)and it helped a lot, although it was a little tight. A tight wrap will cause achalasia symptoms. I hope to answer some questions and help if I can. Acid reflux is a horrible disease, but there is help.
