My doctor just recently prescribed me Nexium for a chronic cough I had.  I always just thought it was allergies but she seemed to think it came from reflux.  I told her after being asked if I had heartburn frequently that I had noticed it more lately.  I've been on Nexium for about 10 days now and my cough is just about gone.

What are you taking to control the cough.  I have eliminated trigger foods and take Kapidex but still coughing.

It is so true.  Besides acid reflux symptoms I also had pain in the middle of my back between my shoulder blades as well as a chronic cough and sinus problems.  After taking just one dose (Nexium, due to price I have switched to over the counter Prilocec) I no longer have the chronic cough or the pain in my back, the sinus problems have also decreased dramatically (I still have sinus trouble of course that being due to allergies.  I recommend using this product if you also have these symptoms.  You will be glad you did.

I have had a constant cough every morning, bringing up thick white pleghm for over 5 years.  I have been tested, saying it is acid reflux.  I have been on Nexium, singular, benedryl, prilosex, etc.  NOTHING HELPS.  Does anyone have any suggestions???  Please help!!!

I have got a chronic cough and throat clearing but I feel choked with phlegm and can't seem to bring this up well so I am choking and coughing all the time and can't find a remedy.   I feel the phlegm in thick strands and if I am able to cough this up it is all in one small piece  and causes me more problems than what I expel.
