About Me

I am a Mom to 3 refluxers and now am dealing with reflux myself. There is a long history of reflux in our family which was discovered after the birth of my first refluxer. I work part-time with children 0-3 as a pediatric physical therapist which gives me both medical knowledge and experience with children with a wide variety of medical and developmental needs. I received my BS in PT in 1994 from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. In 1999, I received an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education from University of Maryland College Park. In 2006, I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Arizona School of Health Sciences. I have been an email volunteer with Pediatric Adolescent Gastroesophageal Reflux (PAGER) since the summer of 2002.
