Blizzard? How Are You Doing?

Jan Gambino Health Guide
  • Here in Maryland, we are having record breaking snow with our second blizzard in  five days. The days are filled with shoveling, taking pictures, baking and of course checking my email.

The snow brings back memories of when my little one with reflux made every day seem like a blizzard. I was trapped at home because going out with a high need baby was just too much trouble. Whether or not it was sunny or a blizzard, I might not be able to get out of the house for days at a time. I always had to be ready for the next extended period of time at home. There was always food in the freezer and gas in the van. I didn't panic shop before a blizzard because the house was fully stocked at all times. I wrote about my experiences in a post titled, Feeling Trapped .

I hope you are safe and warm as you weather the storms. Let me know how you are doing. Do you have enough food and medication to take care of your little ones? Are you feeling trapped? Do you have fun pictures to share?
