i had the acid reflex surgery , and i didnt even have acid reflex. the surgeon told me that i needed my galllbladder removed.BUT some day i might have acid reflex so lets just do the surgery no... it is the worst experience i have ever gone thru.. had to do liquid diet for about six months.. everthing i ate made me sick...and pain around the surgery.... has taken a long time before i can eat normal again. so MAKE sure that you HAVE acid reflex before having surgery. its not the most comfortable thing to go thru/////

Hi, I hope you have recovered from your reflux surgery. I have to go for a fourth, I had two in 2009 and an open in 2010 and all three failed, now have to see a very detailed specialist for a fourth

I am going to San Francisco for my fourth fundoplication, I had two in 2009 with the smalll incisions and one open in 2010 and all three have failed, I have gerd heartburn reflux you name it. Find a good surgeon which I thought I had done but I guess not.
