I just today had symtpoms of acident reflux or gerd.  My doctor just prescribed me prevacid today. I have had three or four episodes over the past couple of weeks where I wake up with acid and food caught in my throat.  Today I actually vomitted.  It is caring me.  Any over the counter medication has not worked for me.  I just stared the prevacid today but have never vomitted with issues with gerd, where acid and food particles are caught in my throat.  My body temperatures rises and I cannot breath properly.  Can someone help me regarding this issue.
