I would like to know the symptoms of acid reflux.  I get burning in my throat and chest and sometimes pain in my chest.  I'm afraid to eat because of this.

Those sound like Acid Reflux sysmptoms.

Make an appointment with your doctor and let them know your symptons. They will give you some advice on how to control the Reflux, put you on a medication that calms the stomach acid and you can do a number of things with your diet to control the reflux. Do a Google search for acid reflux diet and you will find tips on what foods will upset you the most and know which ones to avoid.

Thank you for replying.  I went to the doctor and he did an endoscopy & I was told I have a hiatial hernia which is causing me the heartburn.  He gave me medicine-its eased off some but, I still have it.
