AR and Hypotonia? Early Intervention helped Ella!

Ask the Reflux Mom: Nursing an infant with reflux

Hello........My 4 month old has reflux; although he rarely seems to have a lot of pain (I would say mild discomfort).   My main problem is when he nurses that he holds his neck very far back and is sucking on the end of my nipple.  The doctor says it's because he has reflux and is compensating.  Does that sound right? i know what your going through

my son he has acid reflux since birth it is also called(GERD) his dr. gave hm prevacid 15 mg cap i have to mix it with baby cereal in the morning with either baby juice or alittle baby food. During the day i feed him normuly (will take a couple naps a day) but at night around 8:00pm i give him a bath with nightime baby products then i use... Read moreChevron
