hiatal hernia and gerd

I am interested in learning more about surgical procedures for treating hiatal hernia and gerd.  I'd like to hear from those who have experience with these procedures.  Specifically, I am interested in Transoral Incisionless Fundaplication with EsophyX.  scb11

Laryngiopharyngeal reflux

Does anyone have the same problem? I didn't have any hertburn symptoms.Just woke up one morning couldn't breath.Went to hospital,they tok x-ray & CT scan & could not find anything.My EENT told me it's acid reflux. I have been experiencing GERD, pretty severe recently and the worst part is the back pain and the stomach swelling during the day. I can hardly tolerate my work clothes if I dare to eat lunch. My husband has been living with severe acid reflux for the past year. He has been to several specialists in our area and to a well known clinic in CA. acid feflux

I know it cured, because I had it about 15yrs and it had just returned about 2 months ago. And I know stress can brent it on, and I am under alot of stress. My husband of 8yrs has COPD and is on oxygen 24/7..and where most people with this are on 2liters of oxygen, he is on 5 1/2.
