Feeding
Infants and children with GERD (acid reflux) will have an especially hard time feeding or eating on their own due to the intense pain reflux can cause. Parents and caretakers of children with reflux should take care to notices nonverbal cues that an infant or child will give during a feeding that indicate when the child is full, comfortable or uncomfortable. There is also special formula for children who cannot stomach breast milk or standard baby formula.
