Food restrictions that come with GERD and acid reflux makes cooking at home a priority. Selecting simple recipes that can be easily modified is your best bet for cooking. Avoid foods with high acid levels like tomato and citrus. Bake and grill meat instead of frying. Healthy meals that are low in fat will also help ease acid reflux.
