HI JANE I HAVE HAD BARRETTS I AM VERY LUCKY TO HAVE GOTTEN RID OF IT I HAVE HAD A FUNDOPLICATION BECAUSE MY ACID REFLUX WAS SO SEVERE I QUIT SMOKING I DO NOT DRINK ANY SODA I DRINK WATER ALL DAY I DO NOT TAKE ANY PAIN MEDS ON A EMPTY STOMACH I ONLY EAT ORGANIC MY DOCTOR SAYS THAT I AM VERY LUCKY I STILL TAKE MY NEXIUM I HAVE HAD SEVERE BREATHING PROBLEMS EVERYTIME I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM THEY KEPT TELLING ME I WAS HAVING A PANIC ATTACK I SUFFERED FOR A YEAR UNTIL FINALLY A GI DOCTOR FIGURED IT OUT SO CARE OF IT BECAUSE ONCE YOU GET CANCER IN THE ESOPHAGUS THERE IS NO CURE
