Hi Tina,   If you are concerned, then you need to follow the advice of your doctor. If he has diagnosed you with acid reflux, then he should have a plan of action for managing your care. Online sites like Health Central are great for getting the information you need to ask all the right questions of your doctor. Online advice should never take the place of your doctor's solid medical advice.   I am not sure if your doctor prescribed anything for your acid reflux, but some medications can cause sore tongue and mouth.
