i was drinking a 7up and as i swallowed it down i hicuped it hurt and now i have had disscomfort .

Hello Mark,
Soda or any drink with carbonation can cause temporary discomfort. Your digestive system may be sensitive to carbonated drinks-take small sips or avoid it if you can.
