do you use asperatame or similar sweeteners? I have just read where asperatame may slowly poison your system. I am having similar problems and was researching on-line and discovered a doctor who was baffled by his own pain when he discovered that asparatame may be the culprit. The sweetener is even in Citalopram(anti-depressant)listed as sorbitol. I had just decided to go off Citalopram 3 weeks ago because I was just so tired. I upped my Welbutrin XL and my energy has returned. But, during the past 2 yrs I have had terrible pain in my left knee. The pain finally moved on only to land in my right ankle. An MRI revealed severe tendonitis. I wore a therapy boot for 7 weeks. No relief. After physical therapy and wearing shoe inserts the pain left. No later than a week, I developed plantar fasctitis in my right foot. Two cortisone shots later I thought I was finally releived from the agony. Well I was. But only for about 2 weeks. The pain is now in my lower back. I really don't know where to turn. I am in such pain. I have also had acid reflux for a few years. Now I just feel nauseous and achy. I started going without my Equal in my coffee today. I have been a user for some time now. Also, no more daily gum or yogurt containing sweetener. I am giving this a try for 2 weeks to see how I feel. Please google Asparatame Poisoning to read this doctor's article. Very interesting. Good luck, I know how you feel.
