At six weeks old my son was diagonised with pyloric stenosis and had to be operated on. He is now 49 years old and is having the same symptom - projectile vomiting. I would like to know if it is possible to close up again?
From what I could find, it is possible for it to return, but it is highly unlikely. The cause in adults may also be different from that in infants. I also read that projectile vomiting can happen in anyone due to a virus or food poisoning. If it gets severe, continues or worsens though then he should be checked for the cause. I am not a doctor and can't diagnose him here, so I would recommend he see his physician.
Best of Luck - Stephanie
