Hello Jami,

I am so sorry your baby has reflux. I am sure you are worried about her. I hope you will call the doctor or go back to the office for another visit. Let the doctor know how she is doing after two weeks on the medication and ask for advice on what to do next.

Only a few babies with reflux need surgery. Most babies get better with diet, positioning, medication and time to outgrow it. I will be hoping your baby feels better very soon.
