Q: If food frequently seems to get "stuck" in the esophagus

My husband did go in the hosp.( out patient) 10 years ago, to be stretched... but reduses tp go through that again...

I assume the stretching was due to esophageal strictures and from your post it sounds like his symptoms are similar to those that he had previously. I am sorry to say that he really needs to see his doctor as this can progress to put him at risk for choking or aspirating (getting food in his lungs). As you already know the treatment for these strictues is generally dilation. But, as it's been 10 years possibly the procedure has improved.
