I felt a small burning in the front of my neck a few days ago. I just thought that maybe I had been scratched. Later it felt more painful and it hurt to move my head back. There are no marks on the outside of my neck, but when I put my head back I feel a very very tight cord running up and down my throat. You can actually see a bit of swelling or the outline of the cord. What is this?
