can gasteritis cause swallowing difficulty and tightness in the neck/throat

I started out feeling that food would move slowly down after I would eat or like it got stuck I have a lot

of burps and air in my chest and a lot of disconfort. I have spasms in my stomach off and on they feel

like strong pain almost like labor pain that comes and lasts about 3 minutes and then tapers off. I have had almost every test all they have seen so far is chronic gasteritis I have had a lot of stress and anxiety

I used to have anxiety/panic attacks but not for a while but when all this started I was under a lot of stress

I have taken Nexium it didnt work some symptoms went away but the tightness in my throat and the feeling the food doesnt go down without drinking tons of water doesn't go away It is not as bad in the morning so I try to eat somethig then but it gets worse as the day goes on I get heartburn once in a while

and I dont know if it is because forcing myself to eat irritates it. I also have a lot od phlemn it feels like

I have to always clear my throat and eating makes it worse I even hack it out it is like cloudy clear phlemn

I feel cursed I want to just be able to eat regular with my family however this started Nov. 2007 until now

and only about two weeks out of this time I had a little releif were it felt like I was getting better it was easier for me to eat and then the phlemn and tightness came back and sometimes I get scared that when I am eating I will hesitate swallowing and choke because the constant tightness in my neck I even have the tightness when I am no eating.   Please help
